Hello there,
My name is Fabiana Nasciutti, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience in mental health, education, family support, and human development across Brazil and Canada. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology and a PhD, and I am also a Certified Parental Educator.
My clinical approach comes from relational approaches such as Cultural-Historical Theory and Social Constructionism offering a deep understanding of identity, emotion, and development in a deep relation with the context each person is in. I specialize in individual and couples psychotherapy, child's therapy and parent orientation, emphasizing connection, meaning-making, and cultural sensitivity. My work is grounded in compassionate listening, ethical care, and the belief that healing and transformation emerge through meaningful connections — with oneself, others, and the world around us.
As both a psychotherapist and a mother who experienced motherhood as an immigrant in Canada, I bring a sensitive and thoughtful understanding to the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, identity transitions, caregiving, and family life. My practice supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, life transitions, trauma, emotional overwhelm, and women’s mental health.
I believe that motherhood is not meant to be lived in isolation. Maternal experiences are deeply shaped within networks of relationships, social expectations, and everyday realities. Therefore, I value the importance of care, rest, support, and emotional connection as essential elements in fostering both parental well-being and healthy relational bonds with children.
