You’re not alone in these questions. Breastfeeding is a learning process for both you and your baby, and sometimes some guidance can make a big difference.

 

In collaboration with Alongside Doula Care, Ready Babe offers personalized breastfeeding support grounded in practical and evidence-based guidance, simple strategies that work for your family, and a supportive space to ask questions and feel reassured. Whether you’re just starting this journey with your newborn or navigating challenges in later weeks, we meet you where you are. 

 

We can help with:

 

● Breastfeeding and lactation questions or concerns

● Latch, positioning, feeding patterns, and feeding cues

● Breast or nipple pain, soreness, engorgement, and blocked

ducts

● Milk supply, pumping, bottles, supplementation, and combination

feeding

● Baby’s feeding struggles including nipple confusion, nursing

strikes, bottle refusal

● Introducing solids and navigating changes in feeding

● Weaning and returning to work

● Other common feeding questions

 

We offer you two options: a breastfeeding clinic or a breastfeeding consultation (in-home or virtual)

Breastfeeding clinic

​

This focused 45-minute in-clinic appointment is designed for parents who have a specific question, concern, or breastfeeding challenges and would benefit from practical, personalized support.

 

During your appointment, we’ll help you understand what may be happening, explore your options, and identify practical next steps. You’ll receive evidence-based education, reassurance and practical recommendations tailored to your situation, so you will leave with a clearer idea of what to try next.

 

*If your needs require more time or a more comprehensive assessment, a Breastfeeding Support Consultation (in-home or virtual) may be recommended.

Every Tuesday | 8am to 4:30pm

Last appointment at 3:30pm

Already had a Breastfeeding Support Clinic appointment and want to check in?

A 45-minute follow-up gives us time to review your progress, troubleshoot ongoing or new concerns, and adjust your recommendations as needed.

*Recommended within 1–2 weeks of your initial appointment

 

How to get ready for your appointment:

Please bring your list of questions and concerns, any feeding logs, and equipment or tools you are using, such as pump parts, pump, nipples that might help us better understand your feeding routine and provide more personalized guidance. Photos of these items can also be helpful.

In-home Consultation

Service available in North Vancouver, Vancouver and Burnaby.

● Individualized assessment and guidance

● Emotional support and reassurance

● Practical strategies and recommendations

● A personalized action plan

● Referrals to other providers if appropriate

 

Prices:

- In-home Breastfeeding Support - $175 (comprehensive 90-minute in-home consultation)

Virtual Consultation 

 

Ideal for families outside the in-home service area or concerns that can be effectively supported virtually.

 

Prices:

- Initial visit $120 (comprehensive 60-minute virtual consultation)

- Follow-up virtual session: $80 for a 30 minute check-in and support.

 

All breastfeeding consultations include an email summary, a personalized action plan and text message follow-up
